Privacy Policy for Truffle Grower iOS Application

In order to perform its function of helping to manage a User’s truffle orchard, this Application collects or accesses some personal information from the User. Unless specified otherwise below, all information provided by the User is held locally on the User’s iOS device, with no data being shared with Huffcap Enterprises or a third party.
Data provided by the User includes: orchard location and layout, tree history and truffle harvest data.
Photo gallery access
Access to the iOS device’s image gallery is used by the Application when a User selects an overlay image to replace or augment Google Maps’ satellite image of the orchard location. A copy of the selected overlay image is stored by the Application locally within the iOS device. No images are shared externally or with Huffcap Enterprises.
Camera access
Access to the camera is used by the Application in order to select a tree within the orchard by scanning its label. Camera video used by the Application is not stored within the device, nor is it shared externally or with Huffcap Enterprises. If camera access is not enabled for the Application, then the user will not be able to select a tree by scanning its label.
Google Maps
This Application uses Google Maps API to visually present geographical information. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
When you use Google Maps, information about the use of this Application, including your IP address, is transmitted to and stored on a server belonging to Google in the USA. By using this Application you confirm that in this regard you are in agreement with the recording, processing and use of your automatically collected data by Google, one of its representatives, or third-party suppliers.
Use of Google Maps is subject to the Google Maps Additional Terms of Service at https://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps.html and Google Privacy Policy at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
Location services
This data is used by the Application to show the User their current location within the truffle orchard. This location data is not stored within the device, nor is it shared with Huffcap Enterprises. If location services are not enabled for the Application, then the user will not see their current location shown in the orchard map view.
Access to third party services’ accounts
These types of services allow this Application to access Data from your account on a third party service and perform actions with it.
These services are not activated automatically, but require explicit authorization by the User. Authentication data used by the Application to access the third party services will not be shared externally or with Huffcap Enterprises.
Third party services supported by the Application:
www.weatherlink.com – provides access to the User’s Davis weather station data
